The Liberty Area Runners is a social, no cost running group. Runs are between a 8:30-10:00 minute/mile pace. All runners are welcome. As long as the temperature (with windchill) is above zero and no lightening or pouring rain, we will run. We do weekly runs on Wednesday (5:00AM) and Saturday (6:00AM) mornings at various locations.

- I just completed my fourth marathon on April 10, 2011. My next events are the Heart or America Marathon and Chicago marathon in the fall. My marathon PR is 4:16.

Safety Recommendations
Since we often run in the dark, I encourage all runners to wear reflective or visible clothing. Also I will run with a headlamp. Feel free to join me with a headlamp. It really does help on some roadways.
